Screaming Eagle Surviving Children’s Scholarship Now Open For 2018

Applications are now being excepted for the 2018 Screaming Eagle Surviving Children’s Scholarship.  Children from birth to age 22 may apply for the Screaming Eagle Surviving Children’s Scholarship, if they are a child of a Fort Campbell Soldier who was lost or injured since 9/11.  This includes:

Soldiers who were lost due to GWOT service

Was issued a purple heart due to injury

Medically retired due to a service related disability or illness (from GWOT service).

If you know a child who fits into that category they can find an application at: The Screaming Eagle Foundation website.  Children who are awarded the scholarship but are not of college age will have the $2500 deposited into a 529 College Savings Plan.  Children who are of collage age will have the $2500 deposited into their student account.  Last year they awarded monies totaling $25,000.  They are hoping to award $50,000 this year!
