When wearing a cloth face mask it should:
The CDC recommends wearing cloth face masks (or coverings) when in a public setting. The CDC also advises the use of simple face coverings to slow the spread of the virus. Homemade face coverings can be made at little or no cost.
The cloth face mask is not a surgical or N-95 respirators. Those should be reserved for healthcare workers/first responders, etc.
Do not forget to wash your face covering (mask). The washing machine will clean and sterilize the cloth mask.
