Being indoors doesn’t mean that your home improvements have to stop. Now is a good time to consider these DIY projects.
Update your laundry room – The laundry room tends to be bleak. Add some shelves and bins, put a countertop over the washer/dryer. Want to add color and/or patterns to your wall? Add some stick wallpaper.
Add crown molding – Crown molding adds appeal to your home without a bunch of heavy materials. It can be put on the top of walls, or even door frames.
Change out cabinet hardware – This will change the look of the cabinet without much hassle or cost.
Change a faucet (or 2) – To change the look of your sink(s) add a new faucet. Put a better one in and your sink has stunningly changed. Just make sure you get a faucet with the same number of mounting holes.
Add additional storage to your kitchen – Do you have a blank wall in your kitchen? Turn it into storage by covering it with pegboard. Then hang your pots, pans, or other utensils on it. Pegboard also comes in a variety of colors and patterns.
