If you are thinking about selling your home, here are some ideas to help you get your home ready. For additional information call/text me at 931-237-1417.
Clean Beyond the Basics – It is a great time to buckle down and clean those areas that you may be avoiding. For example, clean your vents and baseboards, wipe down your bathroom cabinets and drawers.
Organize Your Space – Home organization can yield big results. Clean out and organize your closets. Tidy up your entryway and clean your door mats.
Freshen Up Your Walls – A few wall updates can make a big difference. Touch up your interior wall paint, if paint doesn’t match (or is a bright color), consider repainting your walls with a neutral color. Swap out any personalized photos and frames.
Evaluate Your Lighting – Lighting is one of the most important elements in design. A home can go from stark and unwelcoming to cozy and warm just by swapping out some light bulbs. Some ways you can do this is by replacing your light bulbs, clean your lamps and shades, wash your curtain and blinds. Bringing in the natural light is always a plus.
Dig into Your Kitchen – Besides the normal cleaning of the regular areas, clean up and out the cabinets, clean out the drawers. Eliminate kitchen clutter.
Tidy Up the Yard – The size of your yard doesn’t matter. Just make sure to sweep your patio and/or deck. Clean and prep your planters. Scrub your outdoor furniture. If you have grass make sure to keep it mowed. If you have shrubs make sure they are pruned. You want your outdoor space to be inviting.
