The number of COVID cases in the state of Tennessee have been on the rise. The same is true with Montgomery County. With the numbers continuing to increase, Montgomery County’s Mayor, has signed another emergency order. This order requires that all residents wear face masks/coverings.
The mandate states that residents are to wear face coverings over their nose and mouth when in public areas or areas where social distancing is not possible. The mandate will go back into effect on October 28 – 31. Be aware that the mask mandate may be extended if necessary.
Remember, there are exceptions to the mandate rule. If you see someone without a face covering, they may be exempt from wearing one.
